So...you play guitar? That's cool. What kind of songs do you play?

I've always wanted to play guitar. But my mom would never let me buy one or take lessons.

I write a lot of my own stuff, but my influences are punk, hxc and emo. I also listen to some older stuff like Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, because they are some of the most famed guitarists ever.

I'm always trying to broaden my horizons and develop my skill to a higher level. Ya know?

I fiddle around with the piano...nothing serious....and try to make something nice. But. It never sounds very good XD.

So I really admire people who make their own songs.

That's awesome! Great of you to show that experience (time wise) isn't everything. Those are both awesome instruments, especially the piano. I'm attempting to take it up, find some lessons, and mess around with it. You know, see what happens....

Thanks! A lot of my stuff has been pretty lame, but when you have some much passion for something and work at it, it always gets better, ya know?

Btw, that stinks that your mom won't let you get guitar lessons if you want them. I can understand maybe if it's not in the budget or something like that (not trying to say you're poor!!) but if she's not letting you just because she doesn't WANT you to play it, that's really lame.

I'm actually looking for piano lessons as we speak, but my mom and aunt aren't very hot on the idea. :C

My mom and my aunt aren't too hot on the idea though, because they've spent a lot of money on my guitar, and they don't want me forgetting about it...and they think it will take away from my art and my schoolwork, but I'm attempting to persuade them.

i don't speak welsh either. well not very good welsh. i dunno why we still bother to learn it. most of wales speaks english anyways. it's to tricky. i'm gonna fail the speaking test on it today i'm from wales btw but i think i gave that away.
