Well, vacation went well, didn't eat my way through everything, and I went to an old fashoned soda shoppe, it was AWESOME! She made my strawberry soda right there! It was so cool! :cool1:

AND I'M BACK DOWN TO 207! :smooth:

The guy just came and popped in a new hard drive and i was on my own to set it up! :cool1:
 
Haven't posted in a while. Went to the gym today, resisted cookies...it's all going swimmingly :fish:

Breakfast - Egg patty (thought it would be loaded with bad stuff but it only had abut 120 calories), Mini Cinnamon bagel, 8 oz. milk

Snackie - Apple, Frappacino from starbucks (200 cals)

Lunch - 2 slices WW bread, 6 slices of this awesome turkey that has like 60 calories, lettuce, mayo

Dinner - Chicken Caeser Salad from Unos, gotta look it up!

Exercise - Core body Yoga :cool1: And an hour at the gym! :cheer2:
 
Breakfast - Got up at 10:40, hope I can hold out until 11:30 to have some lunch...

Lunch - Salad, 1 fish stick, fries, Cool whip for desert - 540 calories (Cause I ate like half of the coolwhip container)

Dinner - 1 cup lasagna - 365 calories, Salad - 186

Exercise - Mowing the lawn - 1 hr

Total for the day - 1091 Calories! :cheer2:

Mowed the lawn for an hour, 425 calories burned, now for some Breakfast/Lunch :cool1: After a shower of course :rotfl:
 
So I finished "Feeding the Hungry Heart" today, and I'm really looking at my body in a whole different manner. I do like some aspects of it, I love my eyes, my tan legs are starting to grow on me (even, dare I say it, my thighs :earseek: ), and my full face is nicely highlighted with perfectly rosy cheeks. I admit there are still parts that I don't like, flab, bulges, but it's not their fault that they're there. It was my doing, the years of eating when I needed something different that put them there, and I realized that until I can accept myself for who I am now, and stop blaming everything but myself, I cannot change.
But for the first time, after eating my cup full of lasagna and salad, I did not feel tempted to go to the kitchen for anymore. I sat there for probably 20 minutes and still felt full, I was happy.

I can only hope that this revelation helps me in the weeks to come before school :)
 
I've been really good all week, exercise, eating right, and I jumped on the scale this morning and it says 208 :( I know it might show up next week but I want it now :sad1:
 
HI!! :wave2: I've been reading through your journal this morning, and I must say that you are one determined person!! Hang in there. You are going to have ups and downs. But don't the "downs" make the "ups" that much better?? I have been known to gain 2 pounds overnight! It happens and your body weight will fluctuate all the time. I have started weighing in just once a week. Keeps me from getting discouraged by the daily weight gain. I have also started drinking water a lot more. I have been able to tell a difference since I upped my water intake. You can do this!! Good luck!
 
You had an accomplishment, even if you didn't realize it. You ate and didn't go back for more - that is a HUGE accomplishment, especially if you are use to doing that when you eat a meal. BRAVO!!!!

I went to a party last night and there was this girl there that I knew of, but didn't really know. Well it turns out that we have more in common than I thought! We were both talking about not needing to eat the chips (which, of course, were my absolute favorite!) and she said "Yeah, I lost 6 pounds this week and I feel like eating this!" and I said "That's awesome! I gained a pound and I'm pissed" so we talked about it for a while, it was nice to have someone who wasn't just concerned with "the last piece of ice cream cake will be lonely".
 
Glad you had someone at the party to talk to so that you didn't eat the chips. Keep up the good work!!!
