Hey Everyone, I'm a lurker. I post very little but LOVE the boards. I'm relatively new to the boards. I stumbled across them at the end of last year while doing research on purchasing DVC. Since becoming a member I don't think I've missed a Dis Unplugged show this year. I lurk for all the info I'm missing and people just have some great stories. There a few people on here when I see them in a conversation I have to check out what they are saying as they are always good for a chuckle (King Llama, Princess Jes, DisneySteve...)The perspectives that not only the Crue give but the listeners and followers give is so valuable even some of the rants (Love Pete's Rants). My Aunt gave me the gift of Disney when I was a little girl. Did not get to go back till I was an adult with my Aunt again four years ago. I LOVE it...I'm an addict. The boards are my people.

Mike, Thanks for sharing this link. To the Crue...Thanks for sharing your stories. Even though this show was a little dated, still great to know where you all came from. Kathy, my family (other than my Aunt) think Florida and Disney are ridiculous and too much money. I limit my conversations with them on the subject as I know it disgusts them. Sadly some of my friends feel the same way. Me being me, I just don't talk to them about it and lurk here.

So to my fellow DisBoarder's thanks for your stories and info. I need to get out of my shell more and talk here on the boards.

Because you all will appreciate it, I'm returning to Disney in October with DH and DS as DVC members. It will be our first stay as DVC members and yes my Aunt will be there with us. She is my Fairy Godmother, I couldn't imagine a trip without her!!

I got really hooked on the show too.
So much so that I quickly decided to download all episodes from 2015 and up to today in my preferred podcast app.

Oh, and when you get into it, I have a personal recommendation for you. The Disneyland at 60 on the DIS Unplugged Disneyland Edition. Followed by Connecting With Walt on the DIS Unplugged. Amazing episodes!

Thanks Jes. I'll do my best not to be a lurker anymore. I'm excited for you as your next trip is just around the corner. It's been two years for me. I hate to wish my summer away but...come on October! Can't wait to see all the refurbishment that has gone on since my last visit. Disney Springs was a hot mess when we were there last. I'm also hoping while at the food and wine festival I can find myself a spiked Dole Whip. I've heard of them but have never found one...It's like going to the North Pole and you can't find the big guy. My search is on....
