Hey GF Experts! Questions for U!

We might stay at the GF for part of our 2003 trip. Yes, I am already planning our 2003 trip and we haven't even left for our trip this year! I have lots of questions!
First, is the Conch Key rooms all themed in Alice? And what does the Alice theme consist of?? What do they look like? Are there any pictures out there? I checked the GF facts thread and they didn't have pictures for that theme.
They have a new pool, right? What is it like?
Is there an extra charge for dormer rooms and are they only in the main building? Lastly, I assume that King beds are not guaranteed but can be requested, but is there an extra charge for a King bed?

The "Alice" rooms are my favorites. I just love them. That said, I don't think I have any photos of the "Alice" rooms in my on-line photo albums. However, I do have some photos of the new GF pool: click here to view them.

The GF is my husband's favorite resort. I hope you enjoy your stay there.

Okay, I found two photos of my room in Conch Key. It was decorated in the "Alice In Wonderland" theme, which is my favorite. Click here to view "Alice" room. By the way, not all rooms in Conch Key have the "Alice" theme. I have stayed in suites in that building and they were decorated in the "Cameo" theme: click here to view the "Cypress Suite."

I've got more "Alice" room photos, but my family is in them. For some reason my husband does not want me to plaster his lovely face all over the Internet (hee hee).

Thanks Janet2K and Californiadreaming! The photos were great. I think from all of the photos I have looked at the Alice theme is going to be my pick. The new pool looks incredible, too. I hope we can get a good rate for February and we can afford to stay there for a few days. Thanks again!

TinkerChelle, well it sounds like your mind is made up. Glad that our (as in CaliforniaDreaming and myself) photos were able to help. The GF is truly a gorgeous resort and it doesn't really matter what lodge building you stay in, as they are all just lovely. I have experienced the Alice and Cameo themes but have seen photos of the other themes, too, and they all look beautiful. I don't know why I find the GF so gorgeous. Maybe it's the contrast between the white siding and the red roof. Or maybe it's because it sits on the white, sand shores of Seven Seas Lagoon. Or maybe it's because I have so many happy memories of spending vacations at that resort with my friends and loved ones. *Sigh* Have a magical vacation. I hope you get a nice room rate (I have never gotten a discount on any of my GF stays but I still wouldn't trade those memories for anything).
