Nope, momof3disneyholics, I have no ins with Oprah. I do know Marie and several lady frinds did go see her a few years back, but getting tickets I guess is like getting tickets to the old Bozo Circus show here, you need to be willed them. I guess keep calling or writing.

It has been YEARS ago that a group of us went to the Oprah show.
We found the trick to get tickets was to call when her show was on TV (call during the show). That was the only way we could get through.

Does she still have her restaurant?

I was actuallu on Bozo's Circus when I was in 4th grade. My mom had written for tickets before my sisters and I were born, and it took about 11 years!

My husband and I took my oldest daughter to Bozo when she was 18 months old. We just fell into the tickets because my BIL worked for the Chicago Bulls at the time and they had a special Bulls/White Sox employee day at Bozo. He had no kids so he was nice enough to give us his tickets.

Maybe someone should write into Oprah about the Dis and how wonderful (and crazy about Disney)everyone is here. And how people on the Dis would do anything in their power to help someone out. She could do a show about the Dis and we could ALL get tickets for a Dis ONLY show!!

Now THAT sounds like a PLAN!!!!!! Maybe she would like to know what a "community" we are here and how we are a daily support system for each other. I know I have garnered SO much support since I've been here and now I'm hooked forever!!!!! Maybe Oprah is a Diser and we just don't know it!@!!!!

I am up for that DIS meet, and I don't even watch Oprah anymore. It use to be on the radio here (we get the ABC shows on the radio) so I could listen to it in my car, but now its on the NBC station here so I miss listening to it. I do try to plan my day so I am driving when the View is on so I get to listen to that.

Me to, Me too, I want to go to Oprah. You can go to Oprah's web page and give her ideas for her show. Someone should start a list and see how many people we can get to have a DIS Meeting on her show, plus I've never been to a DIS meeting.

BOZO SHOW I used to watch that show with my now 21 year old son when he was a baby. When I had my 2nd child, I went through my last hour of labor which was very hard and had her at 8:05 a.m. 20 Years ago March 1. Thanks for bring up that memory of Bozo Show.
