Hey Canada - give us the soup already!

Wait, wait, wait!

There are gift shops in Canada??

Canada would get some applause if it would bring back the Beaver Tails, too. :goodvibes

Here here! I am going to miss those too!

Or you could just make it yourself before you leave:

Yummy!

Yea, I tried that. But carrying it around the WS in my Thermos was kind of a drag.

I love the idea for a counter service and honestly with the number of people who try to get resssies for Le Cellier and can not...that would probabaly be great. I also usually forget about Canadas gift shop up there too...Maple Syrup & Icewine

Why don't they have a CS?!? I mean really! Everyone else does! But then again, what would they serve? Cheddar Cheese Soup, Pretzel Bread and Beaver Tails? Actually, that would be good enough for me!

Actually, it's available for takeout from Le Cellier! :) Just go up to the check in counter and tell them you want to order soup and breadsticks to go. They'll package it, ring it up and give you plasticware to eat it with. It makes a lovely lagoon picnic during the colder months!

Oh, and my understanding is the soup and breadsticks are the only item available for takeout from Le Cellier...

Does that count as Counter Service on the Dining Plan?

I'm almost glad I didn't know about the take-out option...my poor DH would have been making soup runs all of last week! :rolleyes1

that's some good soup!

On another note, is there any place in Canada that sells beer "to go?" my husband was looking for a canadian beer on our drinking around the world tour and we didn't come across anything

To answer your question about the "Canadian Beer" you can get it from the popcorn cart right accross from the Canadian outdoor merchandise locations!!!

If Canada wants more traffic in their gift shops up top of the pavilion, all they have to do is put a counter food service place up there that serves their cheddar cheese soup and pretzel bread! Maybe salads, too.

Man, that place would be packed.

I agree that a Canada quick serve with Cheese Soup, Pretzel Bread and Beavertails would be a great idea! :goodvibes

The upper Canada plaza just seems so bare with that one gift shop closed, how long has it been now? ...... 3 years or so?
