I have a question for you. Did you use the speaker and microphone system they suggest? There are 35 of us and we will be seated in a horsehoe type set-up. I would prefer not to use it for 2 reasons. One being they are charging me $800 for it and second because I just think it would be overkill. But I want people to be able to hear.

I know Escape brides can use this space for weddings but there is no mention of the speaker system included in the price so I am wondering if you really need it.

Any thoughts?

A speaker system is included in the price for the Escape package in Canada now. In general, Disney recommends amplification for groups of 25 or more, and with the waterfalls roaring behind the ceremony site, I think even smaller groups might be glad to have it.

Then again, if it's a really tight horseshoe, maybe you'll be OK. It's not like with the traditional setup, where you need to project the sound to the folks in the back row.

Yeah that is what I thought. That $800 price tag stinks though! I only want a speaker and microphone though so maybe they will reduce that cost.
