Right now I am trying to figure out how to get in a trip to Vegas (yea baby!!) to see the newest Cirque/Cris Angel show this fall....

Been hearing great things about the Cris Angel new show. Should be incredible. And ya gotta try to get to Caesars, the new Gay Center of the universe. Better, Cher, and Elton all in one place! HAHAHAHA

Wicked is a great show. I was fortunate to catch Idina and Kristen when I was in NYC for work. And Eden Espidonsa will be taking over the role of Maureen from June 1st to the end of the show's run on Broadway.

RENT means a ton to me. It helped me though a lot in life and just finding out who I was in life. My "little" obsession had led me to see the show 99 times in 13 states and 25 different citites. Trying to decide where #100 will be. Either in NYC before it closes or the Anthony/Adam all-star tour next year.

Does anyone happen to know who the cast of Wicked will be? I know Stephanie J. Block and Annaleigh Ashford are running "through April 2008". Will they still be there?

I had heard that Kerry Ellis is taking over as Elphie. If that is true and you get to see her, you are very lucky. I saw her in the role in London and she is my 2nd favorite in the role of the 6 that I have seen (yes, Idina is #1). You can check her out on youtube if you get a minute. Just search her name. She was also phenominal in We Will Rock You in London. One of the original cast members.

She's pretty good! It put me off a bit at first, because I'm so used to hearing Idina's voice.

I do really like Shoshana Bean, too. I've heard her Defying Gravity and For Good. They're really good!

As for Glindas, I like Megan Hilty. Her last Popular with Shoshana was HILARIOUS!! (Again, on YouTube.)

We saw Christina DiCiccio (spelling?) and Victoria Matlock as Glinda and Elphie. Victoria was pretty darn good!

I just finished the book today. Very dark and twisted, but a very good read. I already have a wait list for it (for my friends)!
