Hey all you OKW owners!!

You really have a beautiful home resort. I am writing this from building 20 and I have to say we love our room. We are on the first floor and have a great view of the pond right outside. We enjoyed Olivia's for lunch the first day and OMG these rooms are huge! The busses have been great with the exception of one morning. The DHS bus pulled away as we were walking out and we waited a half hour for the next one. The dreaded stomach bug hit us earlier in the week, so we were truly thankful for the full size washer and dryer! So just wanted to say how much we were enjoying your home resort and are looking forward to the next time we can stay here.

Glad you like it We have only stayed at a few other resorts but like DH said the last time we were there "I feel like I'm home." Now I can't wait until my next trip home

Glad you are enjoying OKW and its HUGE rooms and relaxing atmosphere.

My advice for 1 "DO" and 1 "DONT" regarding our home - OKW

DO - be sure to have a Blue-tini or a Rum Runner at the Gurgling Suitcase. This is a great cozy little bar with a "home" type feel no matter where home is....

DONT - eat at "goods to go" or you may find that you've "got to go"... (worst food we've ever had at any DVC or WDW resort)

OKW really is the best kept secret in DVC.

I've only stayed at one other DVC property in the last 11 years.

Totally agree, once you get used to the extra room, and overall relaxing feel of OKW nothing else compares.

Hey fellow NY'er glad you're enjoying OKW ! It's our home and although we've stayed at & do like many of the other DVC resorts we still OKW best - for us it's a beautiful oasis

OKW is so huge that you can almost always book rooms there at the 7-month window. Stay any time you like!
