Hi, I was just wondering does anyone know how far it is from POP Century Resort to the Hess Gas Station that is on Disney property? We will be flying, so no vehicle,so I was wondering if it's possible to walk to it from POP. TIA

Just hop on a bus to Pleasure Island/Downtown Disney and walk across the street. There are also Hess stations at the Car Car Center by the entrance to Magic Kingdom and also across the street from Boardwalk.

Thankyou so much for the answer!!

We took a cab from Boardwalk hotel to the Hess station right outside its entrance, ran into Hess, and then to Pop and the meter said $8. It was worth it!

There's no way to get to the one by the CCC by Disney bus.

That is correct. I did not say there was. I was simply telling OP where the 3 Hess Gas Stations are located on Disney property. Please accept my apology if I confused anyone. :)

Careful if you walk from BW to the Hess there. A bit of a dangerous road for pedestrians.

I just meant it as an FYI. Some people think they can walk to the CCC from the Poly but there are no sidewalks.

We went to the Hess station across from Pleasure Island last year and thought that we would go to the one across from Boardwalk this year. I thought the one by the Boardwalk would be quicker to get to. It seems that what you are all saying is that it is a more dangerous walk to get to the one across from Boardwalk. Is there an intersection to cross at?

Disney has only a few places that are pedestrian friendly...most of the roads are NOT though..no sidewalks or anything...if staying at Pop, best to go to DD/PI stop and walk across to Hess...again BE CAREFUL..That is a BUSY road and can be a beast to cross even with crosswalks

There is a pedestrian light at the PI Hess. It's very safe. The CM parking lot is behind the station. Lots of CMs cross there everyday.

It depends on where you're walking from. Your best bet would be to take a bus to BW, then walk across the street to the Hess Station..takes about 5 mins to walk there from the BW bus station. Then, I would take a cab back to your resort from BW, rather than taking the Disney buses. You would have to make a connection and I'm not at all sure the bus drivers are going to let you board the bus with bags of groceries.

Yes if you cut across Epcot Resorts Blvd, but not so much if you use the designated walkways and crosswalk.

The proper route is to walk the sidewalk from the main entrance along the right side of the entry road to the security booth. You'll see the Hess station across the street, but don't cross there. Instead turn right and follow the walkway out to the traffic light at Buena Vista Drive, where there is a crosswalk and I think also a pedestrian crossing button. You do still need to watch for cars turning from BVD onto Epcot Resorts Blvd.

You can also get to the BVD sidewalk from the walkway to DHS, by taking the path up the hill just before going under the bridge.

No problem there. Just like any other baggage, it's allowed as long as it's kept with the rider and not blocking the aisle.

Also, for those of you who get the munchies for pizza, Hess Express makes their own pies and they are as good as anything else around Disney (except, they cost a whole lot less!).

Another option would be using one of the grocery delivery services - wegoshop or gardengrocer. Both will deliver beer and wine. I have used gardengrocer in the past and love them. You don't need to be available for delivery - they will deliver to bell services if you are in the parks.
