Hesitating about new Up bird show

I would love to see this show! Unfortunately, a little piece of me is hesitant due to the “wild” nature of birds. Yes, I’m talking about not wanting to be bird-pooped on. Those are some big birds! Is there any where to sit in the theater that would be deemed safe? Or, am I doomed to watch the show on edge?

If you sit in the back on the bleachers, the birds don't go over your head. It's also not a bad spot because you are above everyone else. Sitting on the wood benches on ground level means you are a cranking your neck to see everything because it is all so flat.

There's also a pretty small risk of being pooped on anyway. It's not like birds constantly flying over head. There are only a couple birds during the show that go over the audience.

Also, just my opinion, but the show itself is not nearly as good as it used to be.

Agree with where to sit and quality of show. Seemed like a watered down version of old show yet not good on the Up stuff either. Meh...

Thanks for the info on where to sit and on the quality of the show. I know that the show is pretty new, so maybe they are still tweaking it. I did catch a very recent YouTube review and the reviewer thought it was a little different and a little smoother than when it first reopened.

I sat far away in the bleachers, that’s a good option to avoid getting pooped on. I didn’t like the show very much at all, but I was starving and dizzy from riding Everest 3 times in a row. Lol

Have there been any reports of this happening? Like, I'm sure it happens, but not to the extent where people would be dissuaded from seeing the show.

I've only been sprinkled with bird pixie ;) at the Maharajah jungle trek aviary. But I've seen a few of the birds they bring out in the show do it on stage

Timtracker?

Reports? I don’t think so. Dissuaded? Yes, me already. But, thanks to these nice peoples help I know I can sit on the bleachers and not have to worry about being bird pooped on. After all, those are some big birds.

I haven't seen the new Up show, but if it's similar to the old one, then unless you sit in the very last row, the birds may still fly over your head. There was a section of the show where the birds flew up to the top section of the bleachers. But it was one bird.

I think this is worry over nothing anyway. Odds are incredibly small. OP, if you're that worried about it, you may want to think twice about walking around AK. There are more birds flying over your head just walking around the park than at that show. IMO you've got a much higher chance of bird poop outside the bird show than in it.
