I saw He's just not that into you this weekend. It was a good, but not great, romantic comedy. The most interesting part was Jennifer Connelly's character being more upset at her husband lying to her about not smoking than him having an affair.

Has anyone else seen it?

I don't think it was so much that she was more upset about the smoking as, she was upset when she realized there was nothing in their marriage worth saving.

Maybe that's it. He almost seemed to want her to give him an out after he confessed to the cheating.

I think it was all the lies and deceit....she knew he wasn't growing up.

It was an okay movie...nothing spectacular. Though I do love the bar manager....he's one I could look at for hours.:goodvibes:rotfl:

I hated it. I couldn't look past loathing Bradly Cooper and Scarlett Johanson's characters. I really found nothing redeemable about the 2 of them. I actually left the theater angry.

I mean, come on, Ben Affleck was the most likable guy in the movie.

But I do agree with the assessment. It wasn't the smoking. It was the continuation of lies and her realizing that he didn't love or respect her enough to be honest even after confessing the affair. He wanted out and the smoking lie made her realize that.

Actually being a single person myself and dealing with many of my friends who are married and who cheat both guys and gals it was a pretty darn good movie and quite acurate IMO.

I don't agree with Bradley Cooper's character but at the same time, he wasn't happy and instead of COMMUNICATING with his wife he strayed. I think Jennifer Connoly's character was more upset about the cigs because her father had died of lung cancer and she didn't want him to smoke anymore. She was very cold and was more interested in the house then the relationship, she should have communicated more too.

The Bartender was awesome and I loved the crazy single girl who did all the dating no no's. I think it was one of the better movies out there because some of it is true and people can't really handle that.

You don't want to hear He's/She's just not that into you.

Yes, they were good. I also liked Jennifer Aniston's character and the relationship she had with her father.
