He's Going to Camp AND We're Still Going to Disney:) Update Dec 14 post #665

I wish! School will just be starting, so unless someone is dying, I'm out of commission. I did take off the last two days of the first week of school when Brooklynn was born, but that was definitely an exception.

I will be in (boring) meetings about new rules and standards, and I'll be hearing about my new group of little angels that will be arriving.

I will be taking notes with my Disney pens and thinking of my dear Disney friends who are down there having your much deserved fun.

Skip work, it's just rules. ;)

We'll be thinking about you.

I'm up for a meet too. We saw a Diser almost every day last time we went but only did the "lime look", laughed at how goofy we were and then continued on our way.

Welcome to our report. We didn't notice too much lime green last August but there was on Dis t-shirt.

I think we need to come up with some suggestions as to where to meet.

Check out Nicole's report. I've got you guys set up for a meet and a picture. It'll be a pefect time to meet.

We're even going to be with you in spirit. I'm going to cook supper WCC style that night in honor of all of you! We can all post our pictures and compare later on! :)

Maybe you could get all the other 'meeters' to be at WL that night, too.

Well all, by this time in our story it is January and I have really started laying it on thick with my retired parents that a trip to St Pete's over March break would be awesome. Without overloading you in detail, one day we had the third of 3 snowstorms in a row:scared1: (you've seen the pics above so you know)my dad called me and said " OK that's enough- book it. Mom and I will pay your airfare for your graduation present." A few short minutes later I had a deal on US Air from Portland Maine and we were set to go.

So some warm sunny pics today of our trip. (BTW-its supposed to snow here over the next three days.Flurries but -you get the idea)

Ahhh :beach: :sad2:

Thanks for indulging me! Back to writing my LAST 3 paper for this degree. Next week things will be "normal" again. Only 3 classes left!!!!!:cheer2:

I can't wait to see your pictures when I get home. When I lived in St. Pete, we went to Fort DeSoto often. Our church group would go over there a lot for Saturday breakfasts and picnics.

The Pier - we go there every visit. Gotta see the ocean animals and buy a few things from the gift shop.

Pelicans can get a little intimidating when there's food around. I have the greatest picture of the kids when they were little with some pelicans attacking them for food. Jill is frightened, but cool about it. Drew was too little to know what was happening, so he was just staring at them. Trent was screaming, "What are you trying to do - get us killed?!?!" It was hilarious!

So your dad already bought your graduation gift, which means you better graduate. Keep at it. You'll be finished soon.

Okay, I came home, graded 7 sets of papers, and now I get to see the pictures. They're very sweet. He's a great kid, I can tell. You're raising a fine boy, Mom and Dad.

It is nice to see the warm weather pictures, too.

nice pics. wish I was there now except not by the wildlife pic.

Great pics. Looks like you had fun!! And it looks delightfully warm. The flower is beautiful!!!

Thanks for your pics comments. As any of you who have read our reports know, DH is the photomagic, not me. I appreciated the compliments.

So....this wekend I will hit the Disney Store that is closest to me in my husband's home town. While I may not buy anything (yeah right) just to have the feel around me again will be nice.

We did go to a HUGE (relatively speaking) DS in St Pete's. I actually saw (and bought) t-shirts for $5 each. This is NOT a deal we ever have here so I got one for both DH and I and 2 for DS. Can you guess who's on mine? You might be surprised...

Just back. Overall an ok visit. DH's alma mater's rendition of HSM was well done. I think Declan and his cousins really enjoyed it but found it a bit long. There were a LOT of scene changes. The girl who played Ms Darbus was great and Jackson Scott had me LOL.

Didn't get to see our friend perform at one of the local clubs. Date mix up I guess. DH will make contact with him later.

Of course there is always excitement to our weekends and Delta never lets us down. 3 more schedule changes yesterday and today. We'll be calling once DS is in bed.

Back to the darn essay...
