It is official my first born 16 year old DS...has fallen out of love with Disney. :confused3 My DH and I were talking about plans for our next trip to WDW and my son actually........groaned!!!! I thought this would never happen to us! It is a sad day in our house! Now I just hope his "sickness" doesn't rub off on other family members.:sad2: Do they have a vaccine for that? :rotfl:

Both of our boys (21 and 19) no longer join us for trips to Disney unless it's an extended family trip. If it's just us, they bow out. Granted, we're travel agents who specialize in Disney so we go often and it's not a big deal anymore to them, and of course, their ages so I understand, but it's sad. At least the little one is still raring to go... and DH and I love to go just the two of us anyway. ;)

Oh man! I hope that never happens here, but I'm sure it will someday. Right now both my boys say they want to grow up to work in Florida so they can go to Disney all the time. Thats my boys. :thumbsup2

Oh my. I do hope that never happens to my boys. My DS who is almost 13 still lights up at the mere mention of a WDW trip. A couple of years ago I would have figured that I would lose him (due to teenage attitude against little kid things) by age 12, but so far so good.

Don't worry - he will come back I am sure - although he might want to bring his girlfriend.

Linda

My son(19) feels the same way. He believes he's seen everything he wants to see at WDW.

Fortunately, our 22 year old daughter still wants to go.

:lmao: That's my kids (DD, 11 and DS, 7), too!!

My two youngest boys are 13 and 14. They still enjoy Disney, but this April trip - our 6th- we told them we would let them sleep in and go to the parks later in the day. That will give DH and I time to swim, shop or...snuggle! When we go in August we are taking their best friendto make things more fun! Our 25yo son and 22yo daughter still LOVE WDW, and arrange vacations from school and work to join us!! I do a lot of planning, so each trip we do at least two new things :thumbsup2

That was what my DS said too! But now...not so much :sad1:

My youngest daughter started to feel this way around that age too, she is now 33 y/o and a DVC member...I knew she'd come around she has my DNA afterall and I always say we have Mickey heads on our DNA strands :rotfl:

My brother felt the same way when we vacationed there. My parents let him bring a friend and they did universal instead and then met up every night for dinner and fun at the resort. Everyone was happy that way.
My dh has fallen out of love with Disney...good thing he loves me and the kids
