Hertz reservation question

I just got a great rate thru Hertz (AAA plus coupons) for a full-size car for our 2 week vacation in June. However, when I booked the ressie, Hertz asked for my credit card info. If I decide not to rent a car but DON'T cancel my ressie, will they charge me a cancellation fee (like hotels do)?

Yes they can charge you. Why not contact them if you won't be using the reservation?

Yes, they will possibly charge you if you don't cancel.

I just made a Hertz reservation today, too. Did you use more than one coupon?

I just used the $25 weekly discount. Wanted to use the free gas tank one, too, but didn't think you could.

You can't use 2 coupons.

I may be the exception, but I have never been charged by Hertz for reservations I don't pick up (and I do it all the time!)

Hello-

Auestion just became a moot point...last night I got EA at national for $282, all included, for 2 weeks. The Hertz rate ($281.76, full sized car) was for one week plus one week (so I could use the coupon twice). Yeah, I know, I might only get an intermediate on the EA (time will tell, but there are only 3 of us), but for the same price and the convenience of in-terminal pick up and no mid-vacation car swapping, I'll take EA! AND I'll keep watching the rates! Now I gotta go cancel those Hertz ressies!
