Just back (11/12 - 11/19). We rented a Mustang at Hertz with #1 Gold. Great Experience. Hertz had tons of cars. You do have to take a shuttle from the airport, but it was no trouble at all.
If you are #1 Gold, you are dropped off at the board which tells you where your car is. Just go to your car - the keys are in it.
We brought the car back full - just be sure to get your gas somewhere other than the gas station across from Hertz. The Hess stations on Disney property were $1.93/gallon - $.50 cheaper a gallon than the Chevron by Hertz.
Dropping the car off took about 5 seconds, and the shuttle bus was waiting and left about 3 miutes after we got on. Things were starting to get busy in Orlando - it was the Friday before Thanksgiving week, but all went very smoothly.
The Hertz AAA discount gave us a great rate.
