Hertz Kiosks at MCO?

I've never used Hertz but it's giving me my best price for a short 2 day pre-cruise rental. I signed up for the gold membership, but I think i would still have to stop at the counter the first time using it. Would I be able to skip the counter and use their kiosks instead? (I assume they have kioks per their MCO location Special Services posted on their website).

ETA: Also, can my husband drive the car without being added on/paying a fee?
How would I add an additional driver if I am a Gold Plus Rewards Member?
If the person to be added on is your spouse, domestic partner or coworker, they are considered authorized operators and can operate the Hertz car without being added on. However, if they are not your spouse, domestic partner or coworker, you and the additional driver will need to go to any Hertz location to sign an Additional Authorized Operator (AAO) form to legally operate the Car. There is an additional fee for each Additional Authorized Operator (AAO).

TIA!

You will have to visit the desk and physically present your Driver's license and credit card. One way around doing this at MCO is to do it at a Hertz location near you. We live 5 min from an airport so the 2 times I had to physically visit the counter, I just drove over from home and took care of it there. You can visit any corporate owned Hertz location to do this.

But don't let your husband drive! God c

forbid there's an accident, you won't be covered.

I first used Hertz about a year and a half ago, signed up for the free #1 gold club. I did everything online, never had to stop at the Hertz counter. Hertz is getting to be about the same experience as Alamo, where you just head out to the garage and go to the proper row (they'll tell you which one in an email or on the board when you get out to the garage). Also...check Hertz's prices near the time you leave...I've found they sometimes have good price drops about a week or so out...
