I did find another code for Amex plat cardholders but was scared to use that in case they ask for proof- it would have saved me even more though.

Glad it works for May, thought it was June only

One of the reasons I use Quidco instead of TCB, I had 2 or 3 transactions declined with codes even though the code was listed on TCB as being acceptable. Never had a problem with Quidco. Now used the AA code 3 times and Quidco no problem.

I've not tried it but with a Virgin Amex card it quotes CDP 1040618 for US bookings.

I don't know the Amex code so just Googled, it came up with this one that seems to save a few £ more than the AA code "211762"

I am guessing Virgin Amex code gives 5%, AA 10% and Amex platinum 15% but would need to look at a few dates to confirm rather than 1 random week.

Doesn't work with your dates if you enter 26th June-10th July exactly a month earlier same amount of days you get £237.13 with no code £189.71 with Amex Platinum code (says rate has been discounted 20%) If 8% quidco pays it brings cost down to £174.53 which is a bargain for 2 weeks rental.

Using the AA code you will get £277 on full size but if you click "show all" it will reveal more cars, scroll down to Premium, PCAR Nissan Maxima or similar you will get a price of £213. Less Quidco.
You get upgraded car for less money.

Might book and cancel every 7 days until I get flights sorted as this is a good deal and hertz cars are so much better than Alamo or dollar
