Hertz full-size?

Anyone know what they are giving out for full-size? have a reservation for full-size but thinking of switching to mid size SUV. Rates stink. $200 more for the SUV but have to drive from Orlando to Fort Myers Beach and back. Don’t want to be too cramped with 4 people and luggage

If you're a Hertz Gold member you'll be able to choose any car from the "Ultimate Choice" section, but that's an unpredictable collection. The poster child for full size cars these days is the Chevy Malibu "or similar."

We just rented from Hertz and had reserved a full size car out of Sanford. We were given a Ford Fusion.

I agree. Most rental companies call their cars something larger then I would consider them. Malibu is really more of a mid-size to me. With the 4 adults OP mentioned, it is more of a matter how large the trunk is to be able to hold all of your luggage. If you plan to also do a lot of driving, then an SUV would probably work better for you.
