Hertz at MCO

The last time I rented from Hertz,which was several years ago, they had a desk on the lower level of MCO, but you had to take a shuttle to get your car. I have found a really good rate with them for my upcoming trip. Their website says something about your car will be available at the terminal. Does this mean that they now have cars in the parking garage at the terminal which I can walk to, or do I still have to take the shuttle to get the car?

If you become a member of their Gold program (free to join), they will send you an email telling you what car and where it is (row and space info). That way when you get there, you don't have to check in at the desk and can go straight to your car. We did that in May, and it was so easy! We weren't sure if we were supposed to check in or not, so while I stood in line, he went across the street and was at the car (I still had about 5 people in front of me). It was def worth joining.
