Here's why I loved our Memory Maker purchase (photographic evidence!)

1 day at Universal: no photos together, very few photos of either of us alone (mostly of scenery/buildings). No ride photos.

Uni has a photopass-like product as well FYI.

Yeah, but they have so many fewer photographers around, most reviews say it's not worth it! Didn't see any at the Harry Potter lands or any other cool spots. Disney puts them everywhere-so you will definitely be able to find photos with cool landmarks and backgrounds!

Glad you liked it, just thought I'd say, it isn't for everyone.

One our last trip, we only had 5 photos in our account, beyond the non-optional ride photos. Paying that much for that few photos didn't make sense to us.

I'm also not all that fond of the new technology that automatically links those photos to MB's.

With only 5 photos, I could have easily turned that into a couple hundred pics after adding all the borders and elements to the pics...that's how you get your money's worth with Memory Maker...

I've never seen bad reviews of it, and I tend to see the photographers a lot. And you get the ride photos.

That's what I used to do when I got photopass. And then i realized I was doing NOTHING with those pix after spending all that time editing. I don't get it anymore. I don't love our faces enough to make it worth it LOL.

Love, love MM. And love the fact that it goes directly on your MB with no work on my part. Hated having to keep track of the cards back in the day.

How does memory maker work at character meals (eg: Tusker house)?
Will they come around to the tables?

I fully agree on the worth it side, my daughter and I have so many priceless memories from pp. you do have to make the effort to seek out the pp CM’s so you can make your mm worth it to you! I also want to add, we would have all selfies, yuck! Or separate pictures of us without the mm.

More than half of our photos were blurry last trip. We have had one or two come out poorly before but not half. I always get it, but will think hard for next time. I have to agree with purchasing for a first trip, though.
