Checked in yesterday at the VGC and when I entered my studio, I found this pretty view. I'm now having a coffee and a pumpkin muffin (from Jolly Holiday bakery) on the balconi listening to the park background music.
No way I would pay the rack rates for a theme park view at the VGC. With DVC it's possible.

We were just there a few weeks ago and I can say the same exact thing. I absolutely love the sounds of the ride directions; keep your hands inside the vehicle at all times, etc, etc. In fact, I got to hear those for the Golden Zephyr from our balcony at VGC and it was music to my nerdy ears. We took family with us and they were so impressed by the facilities and the two bedroom villa. It's pretty darn special.

Where are the "like" and "totally envious" buttons? Great view. It is a DVC perk, no doubt about it.

Very cool! We feel fortunate to be members, and though DVC is not perfect, its made for some very memorable vacations for us, and as you say, no way we could afford those views and the nice accommodations otherwise:tilt:

We are looking forward to our first stay at VGC in September. Here's hoping that we get a similar view.

we were in a one bedroom last week on the 2nd floor just below your picture so our view was somewhat obstructed by the trees. make sure you go to that viewing deck in the upper right hand corner of your picture at night. the view is amazing.

It will be sad when the trees grow tall enough to block the view from the top floor.

Awesome view!!!! We stayed at VGC in a Studio in 2013 and had a wonderful view of Paradise Pier (we could hear the screams coming from Californian Screamin and we could watch WOC from our balcony), we were also on the 5th floor so no obstructions. We are heading back to DLR in June and we will be in a 2 bedroom villa and I again have requested the highest floor possible with a WOC view, I am hoping to get the same view or similar :goodvibes .

Awesome view. Enjoy your stay!

We are less than 2 months away from visiting VGC and DL for our first time. I haven't been to DL since the 60s and DW hasn't been there since the 80s.

I'm sure you'll love as I love it.
To anyone going to Disneyland I strongly suggest to go to San Francisco first (if possible) and visit the Disney Family Museum at the Presidio. It's really amazing and unless you're an hard core Disney fan, you'll discover many things you didn't know about Walt. I appreciated the park even more after visiting the museum.

One of my favorites DVC stay was here .... Loved our view of the huge Mickey Ferris wheel .... Good times!
