We're considering that for our trip next year to celebrate my oldest daughter's 8th grade graduation.

This August we're sneaking in a trip to take advantage of the free dining promo - it will be a SURPRISE for the kids! We'll be staying at POP.

I think the price of gas is one of the biggest misconceptions people have. They have allowed the media to convince them that they can't afford to drive anywhere. We drive every year and it always runs under $200. From NJ to WDW is 1035 miles for us. If we get about 25 mpg, that's just over 80 gallons roundtrip. Gas would have to top $2.50/gallon for the trip to cost us more than $200. We have a Toyota Sienna minivan by the way.

As for tolls, yes there are some. Fastpass doesn't make them free. They just get billed to your credit card. So the $0 estimate isn't really accurate.

Well, to me it is sort of free....we had fastpass because my DH traveled the turnpike to work everyday. Well he lost his job a year ago and hasn't needed the money that is on the "EasyPass" (I used the term fastpass LOL but the real name is Easy pass). So, the money is stuck on easypass account. So, to me it is free...it was put on our credit card almost a year ago and there still was a nice size balance.

Nope, but I followed in your Philanthropic foot steps and made at least 3 magical moments by giving families of children that just started collecting free pins.....It was very fun....their parents were completely stunned....
