Heres what happened-all good so far!

Have a reservation for Easter week, so have been hoping(but not really expecting) an AP or other discount-so I've been checking these boards. Noticed the 40% deal and decided to call for a short trip in Oct 07.

Called yesterday and asked if I had a code and/or pin attached to my family,e-mail etc. Told yes(no specifics from cm) and that it was only for this jan/feb. I said thanks, but no thanks.

Called back a few hours later, told cm I had no pin, but had heard of code *** and wanted to know if GF available 10/4-10/8 at discount. Yes MK view available(which I booked at actually a 35% discount). Poly concierge GV was also available at the 40% off rate.

I asked the cm if not having a pin would effect this reservation and she said-no, the computer would not let her book it if it was not valid. Checked WDW site a few moments ago and reservation was in place. Room only 6 day cancellation reservation for 9 months from now with a refundable 1 night deposit applied-I think I'll just see what happens.

Was debating calling back to see if Poly concierge was still available as we have never tried it before. Should I take the chance to mess up this reservation?

I called yesterday too and the first CM said no you must have a pin # with the code and could find no room only discounts for me for Sept 07.



So some other DISer's encouraged me to keep trying. The very next CM I got gave me the 40% off discount for my Sept dates. Now this time I did tell her that I do not have a pin code, but I wanted to see if the WWOD(wonderful weeks of disney) discount would apply? She said sure! You don't need a pin code for that discount. I did say that I had a 3 letter code, but no pin and she assured me everything was fine.


So what was I supposed to do??? I BOOKED IT!!! YIPPEE!!!

Got my confirmation and everything looks good. I checked it today and it is still fine.

I say go for it! WDW should be happy!! The resorts will be full.
