Well my family and I are very excited for our trip in January 2004. We won't be able to get to WDW this year due to other trips, so we are already planning a very big trip from Jan 8. to Jan. 18. We'll probably be staying at the AKL or GF.

Hopefully this will make up for our absent from the world this year. How are the crowds during this time. Does it get busy during MLK weekend. We have never gone during January so were not sure what to expect. Is there anything I should know about.

What a great time to go without the huge crowds and just when we are all getting sick of the weather. Just have to watch out for those nasty snow storms stopping travel.

We went in January of 2002 and we pretty much had all the parks to ourselves....it was great. (We were there the 13th to 18th, therefore we missed MLK weekend). The weather was nice. Too cool for us to swim, but we saw others indulge. We stayed at Boardwalk and the Christmas tree was still up! Very pretty. I would go at this time of the year again. Just be prepared for any kind of weather. We used our fleece jackets one night for Illuminations at Epcot!!! Enjoy your trip.:D
