The first time I went when my children were little there was a very heavy rain storm and we bought the yellow wdw ponchos and so did everyone else. The kids put them on then I looked around to a sea of yellow wdw ponchos and panicked. If DD or DS ever got separated, it would have been so much more difficult to find him/her. I made sure I bought different color ponchos for future trips.

I think that's why they finally got smart and started making them semi-transparent, so you could see your clothes under it. I used to think the same thing about how would ever find someone you were looking for.

wow that would be scary. of course it's so easy to lose someone in the huge crowds even if you could see their outfit. we use the transparent pocket ponchos at walmart for $1
