This sure seems expensive for 4 nights, but I don't see where to trim it any. This is for 2 adults:

Airfare: Free
Transfers: $40 round-trip (Super Shuttle)
Hotel: BW Park Place Inn $410 for 4 nights with taxes
Park Tickets: $278 for two 4 day passes
Meals: $290.

Grand Total: $1018

For meals, I bugeted $10 for breakfast, $20 for lunch and $40 for dinner per day. I know the dinner sounds high but we like to have one large-ish sit down meal a day. We just can't live on counter service alone! Also, meal spliting isn't an option, DH can eat for 2 as is, no way we can split.

I doubt we'll buy souvineers, we've been to WDW twice in the past two years, so we are "shoped out" when it comes to Disney!

Any suggestions on how to get this down? I can't think of any, the hotel is $89 a night (before taxes) and the BWPPI is the closest off-site hotel to DLR, I don't want to save $10 and then have to walk 1/2 a mile, doesn't seem worth it. Can't get the park tickets any lower. I think the meals may be a bit high, but I'd rather over-budget than under-budget when it comes to food.

Your budget looks pretty realistic to me. You got a great price on that hotel, and unfortuneately, not much is cheap at DL!

Your total sounds just about right. One thing is that you probably won't be able to get breakfast for only $10 at Disney. DH and I just got juice & a pastry and it was like $12. I guess you could possibly do it cheaper if you went to a conveince store and bought it.

Also, have you factored in any souvineers?

The hotel has a mini-fridge and microwave and eating breakfast in the room, so the $10 a day is an average of what we'll likely spend at a convienance store stocking up on supplies, which isn't totally accurate since we'll also be buying soda, beer, and non-breakfast snacks. We shouldn't spend more than $50 on our trip to 7-11 so $50/5 = $10 a day.

As I mentioned in my orriginal post, we won't be buying souvineers (we already have gold Ears from our 2005 WDW trip). I might pick up a pin or two if we do well on the food budget.
