Here's an easy Christmas candy recipe

These are so easy to make, they also are pretty and so delicious!

Oreo Balls

You need:
One package of Oreos (crushed fine)
One 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened (I use the 1/3 less fat variety)
One package white almond bark

Mix well the crushed oreos with the softened cream cheese, it will form a mixture similar to cookie dough. Form dough into small balls about the diameter of a quarter.

Melt the almond bark and dip balls into this. Place on wax paper and into fridge to chill.

Also store in the refrigerator when not being enjoyed!

Those sound delicious! I was looking for something easy to make to take to work.

How do you dip the balls into the melted almond bark without getting it all over your hands? Do you use a fork or a toothpick? (I'm really thinking about looking for one of those wire things you dip easter eggs into dye with - lol - would that work?)

You could use anything to dip them down with, I think last year I used this little plastic thing (looks kind of like a 2 prong fork) that came with the Chocolate Factory and the balls rested nicely between the two prongs.

I may even try being artsy and coloring the almond bark green or red!

Hi Could you use just white chocolate chips. You could also add peppermint flavouring too.

I just used my new electric small fondue maker for my stamping party. Thats how I would melt the chocolate, then my DD13 could help me. No school today, parent/teacher interviews. Better go buy the ingredients.
