Here's a random ticket question...hope you can help!

Let's say that you buy a 3-day ticket for a trip and, for whatever reason, are only able to use 2 of those days. Would it be possible to go to one of the ticket windows and have that remaining day transferred onto a new ticket that had never been used before? Now that the no-expiration option has been taken away, I figure this might be the only way to keep from losing money if you were unable to use all the days on your ticket in a 14-day window.

Does anyone know if this would be allowed? Thanks!!

No, that won't work. The 3-day ticket will expire in 14 days, regardless of whether you move the unused day to new ticket media. The workaround would be to purchase a 2-day ticket, then on either the first or second day of the ticket, visit a Disney ticket booth and upgrade to add a third park day. Don't wait until the day after your last park day is used up to upgrade the ticket. That will be too late.

Even when they still had non-expiration tickets, adding it to a 3 day ticket in order to save one day would have been foolish because it would have cost more than a one day ticket.

Rule of thumb: You can always upgrade, but can't downgrade, so start with the minimum you think you need and add on as you go.
