8/27 - B- Tony's w/Pooh etc. --- 2, L- Pecos Bill's --- 3, D- San Angel Inn --- 5 (loved the food & atmosphere)

8/28 B- on the go, L- Pizza Planet --- 3 (son loved it), D- Whispering Canyon -- 2

8/29 - B- Kona Cafe --- 4, L- Cosmic Ray's --- 4 (for fast food - lots of options), D- Brown Derby --- 5 (I love Cobb salad & all other had fish)

8/30- B- Cindy's bkfst --- 4, L- skipped, D- ESPN --- 4

8/31 - B- Fountain View --- 3 (pastry at Epcot), L- Sunshine Food Fair --- 3 1/2 (again good varitey for fast food),D- O'hana --- 3

9/1 - B- Boatwrights ---1, L - ??, D- 1900 Park Fare --- 4

I'm glad you loved San Angel Inn. It gets such a mixed bag of reviews, but I had a meal there that I would describe as memorable in a good way. Food was delicious.

At Tony's breakfast with Pooh etc., we found the food to be fairly basic. My dh and I had the tradtional breakfast vs. the healthy choice. Kids were given french toast with bacon or sausage and could also have anything else we were having, so they had fresh berries as well. The food was very basic and bland with the exception of the potatoes. It was so pre plated that it was just warm - not very fresh tasting. We saw 3 of the 4 characters at the very beginning of the meal and then had to wait to see Pooh until about 10 minutes after we had paid the bill and the dishes were cleared. The only seconds we had were for sausage for my ds who is a meat hound. The last time we had the Pooh breakfast at the Crystal Palace and loved it (even though we waited for characters there too). We all thought the pre plated breakfast at Cindy's was much better. Also, since we were visiting over the Labor Day weekend, we made a last minute PS at 1900 Park Fare (so we could be near MK for Spectro), upon the recommendation of hotel staff. It was a much better environment and meal for meeting Pooh and friends.

If you wouldn't mind sharing, how was the quality of your food at the LTT lunch?

And how about Cosmic Ray's? Variety is appealing. Lunch counter service seems so repetetive in the menu choices. We are not excessive burger/fries eaters. What did you all enjoy there?

At what time was your PS at Tony's? I am planning one for Nov at 8am . We did Cindy's last weekend at 8 and the food seemed hot and fresh. the characters came around in a very timely manner. I wonder if the time makes a difference.

We had dinner at the LTT, not lunch, I don't know what the menu differences are. Everyone really liked the flank steak. DH loved the stuffing and I liked the salad. Everything else was o.k.. I thought the turkey was like something you would get in the school cafeteria, not a restaurant. The ham was tasty, but very fatty. Server was good though

At Cosmic Ray's, they have 3 sections for ordering. One for chicken, one for burgers and the third for salad & sandwich. Kids split a chicken finger meal with real chicken and fries. DH got a grilled chicken sandwich. I ordered a stack sandwich, I think it was turkey, ham and cheddar. They have a fixin's place with lots of options. I was glad not to have burger & fries everywhere too!

Our PS for Tony's was 8:05. I think we were the third party seated. At Cindy's our PS was for 9:05 - we were seated quickly and served nearly as soon as we ordered, but I thought the food quality was much better at Cindy's.

We stayed at POR-FQ and decided to go for breakfast on Sunday morning. We were seated immediately at about 8:15 or so. We found the restaurant very loud - it was an average crowd. The service was horribly slow, not just for us, but for everyone. We ordered a childs pancake, a childs scrambled egg, french toast and adults scrambled egg breakfast. We waited for the food for more than 45 minutes. The family next to us had a girl about 2 and she got really bothered with sitting in the high chair with no food for over 30 minutes too. They ended up taking the girl for a walk while waiting only to be told that a fryer had broken and they wouldn't be able to get part of their order - at which point they were starting over. A man from a different section of the restaurant actually followed his waitress around the restaurant to bring her to the table so his wife could order (she joined him later on). I think there was noticeable annoyance on many faces with different servers. When we got our food the portions were huge, but the quality was nothing magnificent. We finally left at 9:20. Over an hour for a regular breakfast??? The food court worked better for us.

We did the Donald breakfast buffet here and were thrilled. The amount of choice, the freshness and quality of all the food, and the atmosphere were great. We thought it was the best breakfast of the week - even better than the Tonga Toast. We saw Mickey, Goofy, Pluto and Donald serveral times with a lot of interaction. Our server was very friendly- at times a little to friendly with other guests forgetting small little things like cream for the coffee and my glass of water; however, it did not take away from the overall meal. Our breakfast was at 8:10, so getting in early (we were finished at exactly 9) made it possible for us to tour all of dino land without any wait. My dd rode the primevil whirl 2x in a row, but when she got off the 2nd ride the line was building.
