I just wanted to share this with you guys, and see what you thought. I made it for my friend Tara who's getting married at Disney World. She's having a Cinderella themed wedding and one of the things she really wants to have at her wedding is Cinderella's Coach. I thought it would be neat for her to have a little reminder of her special day every time she used her cell phone! I was also thinking of doing some castle and Cinderella's Slipper charms as well; they may be neat to put in her welcome bags. Let me know what you guys think!

Adorable! Have you thought about maybe selling them? There are many Disney brides who would probably love to have one of those! (Like me! LOL)

Thanks for sharing - that is just sooooooo gorgeous! The charm would look great on home made invites or programs too!

Could I ask where you can get the coach charm, and also the castle sounds pretty sweet too.

Thats soooo sweet, i love it  . I definatly want me one if those. I think most brides to be on here would love one . You should definatly think a bout making more & maybe selling them on ebay. You could use soo many Disney themes as well. Think you ve found a new hidden talent

dee slack, I have my local bead store order the charms for me, but I'm sure you can get them online if you do a google search!

And I do sell alot of things! I make jewelry, beaded favors/flowers, among other things. I have a few examples of them on my little Geocities web site. I mainly sell at craft fairs and take custom orders from people either online or at the craft fairs. I looked into selling on ebay, but I just don't want them to get a percentage of my earnings!! (I hope that doesn't sound selfish.) It's already so hard to sell things at a decent price. I hand wrap all my charms, and use sterling silver findings, Swarovski crystals, etc. For example, the Cinderella Coach Phone Charms are priced at $9 each. Shipping on something so small is usually less than a dollar, depending on wether or not you get insurance. But there are some people who freak out at that price! I can't understand why. I always use only the best materials, I take my time and assemble the items correctly, etc. So after I've added up my materials and time, it's a great price! It makes me so sad that people don't understand how much better the quality is on handcrafted items vs. things that are made in China. :confused3 Plus, when someone is handcrafting your items, you can customize it all you want, right down to the tiniest Swarovski crystal!

Eek! I didn't mean to get so far off topic. I was just letting you know that I do sell wedding/Disney related items! I'm glad you guys like the Coach charm. Right now I'm experimenting with different colors - traditional Cinderella blue, all white, purple, etc. for the heart and crystal.

Here are some of my other charms. I would love to get your opinions!

I've just been thru' 20+ pages of a search! They all seem to be real silver, when I would really only need cheaper metal otherwise it would be pretty expensive on the invites! I did find a wholesale place that sold them for $1.73 but you had to be a retailer and buy $100 worth so no good to me. Thanks anyway. BTW you're very talented and have some very pretty designs, good luck with them.

Oh, I'm sorry you couldn't find anything. I'll keep my eyes peeled. That's why I get my local bead store to order them for me! DH has been trying to get me to 'offically' become a business and get a wholesale number, etc., but that is such a huge step! Right now I sell my things mainly because I don't know what else to do with all my things I make. It's so much fun for me to put things together - but I really can't use 100 cell phone charms! Then people just started asking me to make gifts, etc. for them, and now here I am doing craft shows!

And thank you for the kind words. It's so encouraging!

I'd like to see the slipper and castle ones too! They're all very cute, but I love the coach! Unfortunately, my current cell phone doesn't have anywhere for me to put one! Am I just dumb and not knowing where a cell phone charm goes??? My old phone had a spot for a "handle loop" so it had a place. But I still may get one to put away for my next phone!!!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. You have no idea how encouraging it is to get such enthusiastic feedback! I'll try to take some more pics soon! I'm so busy with school right now, it's crazy! Don't worry though, if you've sent me a PM or e-mail, I'll get started on your orders right away! Thanks again everyone! And if there are any more questions, let me know!

I also wanted to add that I have the piece to make the charms fit on your cell phone antenna. So even if your phone doesn't have that little strap holder part, you can still have a charm on your phone!

Do you make purse charms? you know the ones you clip to your bag or diaper bag?? (for those of us not cool enough to carry cell phones!!)

Very nice Amanda! I love the charms. I know how overwhelmed you can get going to craft shows and creating items to sell. About 15 years ago, my mother and I began making bows and painting t-shirts to sell at craft shows...WOW did that get old fast and then it became a competition between who could price their work the lowest. We finally decided to only do it for ourselves and our friends...birthdays, Christmas, etc.

The charms are really nice....Good luck on your endeavors!
