Finding Nemo -$70 million dollar opening weeking ... best opening for any animation film...... Theme Park attaction time.....

Living Sea's UPdate at Epcot......... with Finding Nemo and Little Mermaid THEMe

Both Sub Lagoon's at Magic Kingdom and Disneyland........ could have a nemo type attaction...

or Eisner's favorite......... a new Finding nemo spinner ride at one of the parks.....But you hath to watch it you don't want to copy IOA's one fish 2 fish spinner

Finding Nemo and Little Mermaid as the main theme of an Epcot pavilion? I don't think that would ever happen.

They could so somthing with the 20k lagoon for Finding Nemo. A living Seas facelift with Finding Nemo would also be good, it really needs somthing new over there.

The Living Sea's Pav.

After watching AtlaNTIS movie...... I was thinking how cool it would be to retheme the living sea's too that movie... redo the Film in the beginning ...... make those riding things like little drill cars in the movie.... and when you get to the heart of atlantis... you can see all the treasures it holds....... put all kind of statues and stuff in the big fish tank with the fish swimming and you also could have a finding nemo , little mermaid thing too..............

The Project: Gemini plans as shown at Jim Hill's site indicate a possible retheming of The Living Seas to The Little Mermaid.

Wouldn't it be great if somebody went into the living seas tomorrow morning, and Surprise! They had taken down those walls they built around the sea cabs, and Surprise! They've been working all along to theme them up like Nemo and Little Mermaid and Atlantis, and instead of just setting their boarded up for no apparent reason they were getting re-themed this whole time!

And somebody walks into tomorrowland in disneyland, and surprise! The subs are open! They've been working on them all the time to re-theme those, too!

I'm just saying it would be cool.

The thing with Epcot is that the characters (where they appear) are only there to deliver some sort of knowledge or information (with the possible exception of the Imagination pavilion); they are never the centerpiece of the attraction.

I can see them use Nemo or Ariel in the Living Seas to make the pavilion more approachable, but I seriously doubt that they would ever be its centerpiece. For instance, they may be used as narrators in the preshow movie (kind of like the Lion King cast in the Land pavilion), but the ultimate theme will still be maritime fauna and exploration.

Anyway, Project Gemini will most likely not be seriously considered until the figures for Mission: SPACE are finalized. Was WDI able to complete the project on schedule and within the allocated budget? Did it significantly boost Epcot's attendance? If so, if that attendance jump large enough to justify the kind of money that was spent on the pavilion? Only if the answers to these questions are "yes" will there ever be a remote chance of Disney investing half a billion dollars into remodeling an existing theme park.
