So... this girl called Abecca Dureh, she goes onto a cruise ship, which crashes in a pile of jagged rocks, and ends up on an uncharted island, with weird animals and a remote tribe of people, who believe they are the only humans in existence, because they haven't left the island, and are surprised to find her washed up onto the island...

I can't think of anymore.

Time period... I don't want it in recent times, because if a boat were to sink in bad conditions, everyone would be saved... and the island wouldn't be uncharted. Unless, it was in the middle of the Atlantic, and she doesn't get to a lifeboat in time, causing her to wash up onto an island so tiny, it wouldn't be surprising if it was uncharted or something...
