Here we go again...More tornadoes in MO.

I am watching the news and we have had a few touchdowns. No F5's or anything like that but I have a storm headed my way.

Sedalia MO got hit so far. GAK

Probably not long from now, the same that you have will be here. We're under a tornado watch in Illinois also. I'm keeping an eye on the outside weather.

I am going to get a double whammy with back to back cells. It is on me now and my dd is on the school bus driving home.

It is starting to sprinkle.

We have had many tornadoes on the ground, but only damage in Sedalia so far.

Crap, they have now issued a tornado warning. She should be home any minute.

I'm in SE IL. We've had a few small thunderstorms but nothing major. Looks like the bulk of our weather will come later this evening.

This is crazy!! We are in the basement and it seems like we may be here all night. EEKKK.....

If we make it through the night ( which I hope everyone does) we are headed to WDW tomorrow!!! I'll deal with the heat to get out of this stuff!!!

I'm in the Kansas City area and had to take cover while shopping at Sams club today. It was pretty scary. I've never had to do that before. A tornado briefly touched down just a few blocks away, but then moved on and hit Sedalia. I feel horrible for the people who lost homes today, but it sounds like there were no fatalities. Stay safe, St. Louis people. It sounds like it is approaching your area.

Happy to hear that you are ok. I picked DS up a few minutes early from school and had DH come home form work. He can work from home and I know we are all together. This weather is crazy.

Me too. As soon as we were let out of Sams club, I headed straight for the kids schools. What a crazy spring it has been!

Oh yea she is home safe. The elementary kids have to still come home though.

My dd is a middle schooler for 2 more days and then she is a high schooler.

Older dd is working at Six Flags right now. I wonder if they will send her home?

How much do you owe on the truck . We paid off our first car with hail damage-but it was only marble sized. YIKES.

We are expecting bad weather here in about 2 hours. We are in the highest risk for severe weather. Hope it passes everyone with little or no damage. Praying for all in line of the storms.

The storm systems look like hurricanes, with the big rotation areas. My son is at Cedar Point. Some bad storms headed that way, too. There are no basements in amusement parks.

Happy she got home. Our elementary schools get out at 3:45 ish so I'm not sure what they are doing. Hopefully holding them until it is safe.

The sirens are going off again. We are just having a little party in the basement. Actually DD fell asleep.

What did Six Flags decide to do??

Im' glad your daughter is safe! I'm in the KC area and we dealt with the first wave. We had two classes on field trips. One had just gotten back when the sirens sounded. It was about an hour long of ducking and covering, but the kids were amazing despite how scared they were! We did have a bus that was taking a preschooler home come to us so they weren't on the road.

My husband teaches in KCK and they were also under warning but made it through okay. He has to work at the theme park tonight though and it sounds like we have a possible round two. I'm saying a little prayer that he will be okay.
