Yep In 73.5 hours, my plane will (hopefully on time) be departing the gate!

I just worked mine out. I'll be starting to make the journey across to WDW in about 84 hours. You'll be there by the time I leave Melbourne. And then it's gonna take me another 22 hours to get to Orlando.

That's such a long flight I don't know if I could do a flight that long. I'm looking at maybe flying to London in a couple years for vacation, since I've never been overseas, but I don't know if I'd like having that long of a flight.

Unlike Creme Brulee and Asparagus, this would be an experience that I would NOT recommend . Unfortunately, if you like to travel, it's unavoidable.

My flight is 1 hour from Melbourne to Sydney. 15 hours from Sydney to SF. We have about 3 or 4 hours in transit there. And then 4 or 5 hours from SF to Orlando.

Thank goodness for being able to stretch our legs at SF airport!

It takes longer than 22 hours for us Aussies to get to London.....

26 hours.

9 hours to fly into South East Asia (Singapore, KL, Bangkok)...transit for about 3 or 4 hours. 16 hours from Asia to London.

The alternative route is to fly to the Middle East (eg Dubai) which takes about 14 hours. Transit for about 4 hours. Then the 8 or 9 hour flight from there to London.

By transit, do you mean a layover? That's a super long flight I think that would drive me nuts

Yup. Transit = layover. Sorry, I should have translated.

Yes. super long flight. If I ever go, I would do a stopover in Asia. 9 hours is okay; we'd stop for 2 nights and then fly across to Europe. I'd also plan a stop on the way back. Most Aussies seem to chill out on a beach in Thailand on the way home....
