I'm pretty tired over here. I've been up since 5.30 am. My company hosts a Breakfast function on the Thursday morning before the Aussie Rule Football Grand Final day (on Saturday) and I've had to make coherent conversation before COFFEE this morning :scared1:

....soooo, what's your excuse for AFTER....:rolleyes1

Good Morning from Oz! It's Friday here, POET's Day......:rolleyes1

....soooo, what's your excuse for AFTER....:rolleyes1

None. I didn't say that I speak coherently....even after a cup of 'Joe!

Joe, himself,................that depends! :lmao:

I love florentine pizza, spinach, motz and parm....

YUM! But it sounds way to green for me. Add some fetta, sun dried tomatoes or red peppers...and we're in business!

...I made Chicken Florentine on Tuesday night....OMG, it came out amazing! :hyper:

And you didn't share???? Recipe please.....

...as in 'Disneyland', or as in 'dreary Latvia' ??

Technically I was only in Disneyland for about 2 hours today...but more like Dream Land, dreary Latvia is too far away.

I just finished soaking in my jacuzzi tub. I have a meatloaf and baked potato in the oven, green beans are heating up on the stove and I can see Mickey's Fun Wheel (aka Mickey's Wheel of Death) out my Living Room window. In a moment I'm going to take my glasss of wine out on the balcony and soak it all in. In an hour, I'm going to watch World of Color from that balcony. Life is pretty good right now!

Poet's Day Last!

(It stands for P$#s Off Early, Tomorrow's Saturday)

:thumbsup2 Hope you are taking lots of photos for us to live vicariously!

So my laptop is irreparably damaged. It fell off of my bed last night while I was putting laundry away (my foot got caught in the cord and I accidentally yanked it off the bed). I'll be able to get on with my iPod (provided that AT&T fixes our internet, which has been down since 9pm last night) and at work, but aside from that, I won't be around much, if at all. :grouphug: I'll be getting a new laptop probably a week after I come back from Disney.

:wave2: Missed chatting to you last night....it was a morgue on-line.

Bummer about the laptop. But I expect that you'll make up for the silence at work...:lmao:

Gotta go and clean the house how. It's Saturday morning and the Grand Final is on in the afternoon. I want to get all the chores done so that I can spend a lazy afternoon today in front of the TV (and the PC)....if you are online.

Dana - If I don't catch you this weekend, I hope things go well with your tooth on Monday.

Sorry to hear abut the lap top, Dana. Hope you get your chores done, Sharon.

We have spent ALL day in the ballroom, not very good pictures as a lot of it is on video screens. GREAT information! There is a concert in two hours and we'll be heading back within the hour, but Fran was just too pooped to make our dinner reservation.

Luckily I had brought along a box of Velveeta Shells and Chesse which I am cooking on the stove and we have some sausages and Wienerschnitzel that I stole from the Oktoberfest buffet!

I'm going to my first DISmeet after the concert in the lounge of my hotel tonight, don't know how many will be there, but we'll see!

I missed talking to you, too! I didn't have anything to do last night :guilty:

Have fun cleaning! I'll be around off and on, but not all night like normal.

That sounds like fun! Yay for quick dinners! :lmao:

This is the third laptop I've had that's broken (Vaio - same problem, hard drive failure after a fall; Dell - screen shorted out, tried to buy an external HD casing, didn't work; Toshiba - this one). I'm definitely going to buy the warranty this time :headache:

When I have more time (aka when I get home) I'll tell you guys more, if I can remember...but one really funny thing. Marty Sklar got a real Diss on Michael Eisner. Tony Baxter was talking about Star Tours and how they had started on negotiations with George Lucas when there was a regime change. Michael Eisner came to the table of "what was going on in the theme parks" fully acknowledging that he knew nothing about amusement parks so he brought his 14 year old son along to be the target demographic. As Tony was describing something about the meeting, Marty got in this jab, "At least he knew to bring someone who was an expert." or something to that effect...the whole audience broke up!

The Disney historian guy was hilarious too...he got in a few comments, and not sure if you know anything about California politics, but we have this woman candidate for Governernor, Meg Whitman, claim to fame CEO of eBay, and very right wing Republican...he made a big jab at her, though what he said exactly escapes me, but the whole audience made one of those kind of "whoa" noises, that sort of "we pretty much agree, but can't believe you said that here in a public forum!" :lmao:
