Hi Ness! Long time no see!

Back on the Christmas gift discussion, we tried to make it for the kids only, but both my parents and my sister (each of which really don't have any money) want to do limited exchanges. We make lists and send them around to the family so nobody gets what they don't want. Takes all the fun and surprise out of it. Drives Fran nuts, she can't stand it, and always goes off list to buy gifts for people.

Hello!! I've been on overdrive... Singing, working, singing, cleaning, singing, mommy-ing, singing, working... you know how it goes. We finally finished our Christmas CD project at church which dropped a week ago. Now I'm in Christmas mode since all the family is coming to my house for the holidays. Lot's to do and so little time. I've been beyond busy! I came on here thinking there would be a new thread to search for.

I haven't forgotten my LTP crew!

Isn't being a musician wonderful? Today we had our final concert of the year, our band plays for the congregation at the church where we rehearse after the service during their social hour. We play Christmas Carols and they sing along, afterwards we have our Christmas Party at one of the band members homes. The couple who hosted it takes care of one of their 91 year old mother. As a special request, the daughter asked if we would bring our instruments and play "from the white book" some Christmas Carols for her mother. She can't really talk any more, but her excitement was obvious, when she saw us getting our instruments out, she was ecstatic and we all stood around her and her caregiver and played six carols for about 10-15 minutes. She kept High-fiving her daughter after every tune, it was really moving.

On the other side....it was a potluck and I ate WAY too much!

I'm going to have to sign off now and let you be last. Fran is already in the other apt, and with all my mechanisms I now have to deal with mentioned in the Boo to Us thread, it takes me longer to go to bed.

But yes where is Kimmar and obviously Firefly is so perhaps she won't be around as much. I guess it's just us married old hags to hang out here. Hey only about a month and week till we meet up! I have a post that I'm working on for my "Cheating" TR that has nothing to do with the TR but my Christmas plans, if we could just stay home and stop going to parties, DL, Dr. appts and things I could post it!
