My first one was shut down between 5 & 6PM CA time, so confused about your time. You used to surface around noonish, since this daylight savings it's more like 2PM. How many hours do you fall back or spring forward?

You went forward an hour; and then we went back an hour. I always get confused at this time. We used to be 17 hours apart. Don't know if we're back to 17 hours or back to 19? Oh I don't know. And then the East Coasters made me even more confused.

When did this hit 250?

I think it was about 2 or 3 days ago. When did I post #12? That was when it hit 250.

OK that makes total sense. It hit around 7PM Friday Pacific tome because we were just starting the sake party when we hit 250!

Two things to share today.

The first is that I decided to do a DisBoard exchange....the one for cookbooks. I'm a sucker for cookbooks. Cookbook had to be from your state. I found one that was a food and wine book for the Great Ocean Road and posted that off. The postal was a fortune because I sent it by Priority so that I could track it.

Anyway, I've been catching up on the first couple of arrivals. The first arrival was a couple of days ago. Dang that Merriweather! She didn't just send the cookbook....she sent a couple gift basket of goods as well.


Made me feel like I should have shoved a few more items into my bag, instead of only the cookbook.


Checked the thread today. Seems like a few more arrivals have made it. The second arrival had TWO cookbooks .....the third only had one cookbook!

My bit of Photobucket has been under renovation for the last 3 or 4 days!

Sadly, I had an entry in last week's photoboard competition that I hope will make the final cut. Over 50% of the photographers on the photoboard seem to use photobucket as well. Mine seemed to be the only one MIA!

The voting thread was up for about 2 days before my picture was nixed for 3 or 4 days. Until then, it seemed to poll quite well against Jimbo Jimbo's all singing and dancing shot. Just went to check how polling has gone..... Fallen way behind!

The good news is that my entry is still in second place for the preliminary elimination. The top two pictures usually make it through to the final cut. Crossing everything LAST!

Chill Queenie.....you're on the CB. We take the opportunity to be snarky at every turn. Sarcasm drips here and that's why I hang out here as often as I do. Threads like this seem to fly under the radar where the mods are concerned.....until we hit page 250.


(And to answer your question....it's all in the name. That's why I'm a lowly Princess and not a Queen....as I've said before, a Queen outranks a lowly princess anyday!)
