Here now...

No I don't get it. I expected long lines but not such a long wait just to enter. This is messing up my touring plan! Lol

Sometimes if the Esplanade area gets too backed up, they will slow down entry for crowd control. Maybe that's what's happening?

Have fun! It's a gorgeous day in So. Cal!

I'm guessing it was the picture taking thing too, it is sloooooow.

Can't wait to hear a report of how the rest of your day went, and how the crowds were!

I thought that was all figured out and things were back to normal basically. Boy, I can tell I've been away from the boards for a couple of weeks.

UGH! Not what I want to hear! We leave in 24 hours!

I hope you now are in the Park and having a wonderful time!

The last day we were there, two weeks ago, their whole picture system went down. The CMS didn't know what to do. None of the pictures would come up for the hopper tickets. They let DH and me in because we have APs but our DD and DF were there with us and had three day park hopper passes. We had to wait until the CMs decided what to do so they could make it through. We were about 10th in line and did not make it into the park until 30 minutes after MM was supposed to begin. Kind of spoiled our plans.

Would love to hear about crowds this week and how your wk goes - once you get in:)

Which day was that? It took us 45 minutes to get into our MM on Tues, Feb 12.

We were there last weekend and on two different days to get in Disney it took 45 mintues and the next day it was 70 minutes due to the pictures for the multiday tickets. We have AP but still had to wait as there was not AP or single day ticket line. It was BAD!!! They need to get this figured out and QUICK.

They did not take our photos at all (first day of 5 day hoppers), but they did glance at my ID. I pre wrote our first and last names with a fine print sharpie, no issues with that.

It did take us awhile to get in and there are larger crowds than I expected BUT the wait times are all very reasonable, especially with FP. We are having a great time and the weather is warm and sunny. :)

That's the day!

I had no idea the photo system was down that day. But, no CM could tell us if we were in the right line for MM or not. It was ridic. There were many people moving from line to line b/c I CM would tell them one line. Then a CM would pass that line and tell them another. There were plenty of mad people who had waited in multiple lines. My favorite was when DH asked one CM if we were in the line for MM and the CM replied "You know, that is a good question."

How was it once you finally got in?

Disney REALLY needs to figure this multi-day hopper stuff out. For a company that prides itself in innovative rides and attractions, this is really pathetic.

We had SO many problems back in November when they were making 3-5 day hoppers stand in separate lines, we ended up missing our chance at RSR Fastpasses, we were delayed several times because ONE ticket was having issues and they reprinted it several times. Such a headache.:sad2:

Oh my goodness! That sounds awful! So, does everyone get in one line and then you have difficulties if it's people needing pictures in front of you?

I guess the good news is that if we are some of the first ones at the gate, it will give us a little more time before the crowds get heavier. ;-)
