Hi from the Disneyland Hotel!
DH and I arrived mid-day on Saturday and are having a great time! The crowds were pretty intense on Saturday (walking through DL took a lot of maneuvering) and many rides had long(ish) waits, but we got some fast passes for HM (the holiday overlay is AWESOME!), went on Pirates, Tiki Room, Buzz Lightyear, and Winnie the Pooh...and just enjoyed being here!!
Yesterday was DH's birthday and it was fabulous!! The crowds had thinned out, which was nice. We got to see Cars Land (AMAZING!!) and even though RSR went down right as we got to it we were able to take a lot of pictures and really soak in the atmosphere. Disney has really outdone themselves....I am blown away!
We had lunch at the Blue Bayou (food was really good, though overpriced) which was DH's choice for his birthday. Last night we headed back to DCA and saw the Aladdin show (really fun and I would recommend it highly) and then got in the single rider line for RSR right as the sun was starting to go down. It was GORGEOUS all lot up and the ride was a ton of fun! The regular line was posted at 90 but we only waited about 25 in the single rider line.
We stayed in DCA until the late WoC show (which was almost empty) and I loved it - even more than Fantasmic!!
Getting ready for another day in the parks!!
Hoping the crowds have thinned out even more and the weather stays nice (yesterday was beautiful sunshine in the afternoon and not too hot at all).
