Arrived 2pm yesterday after 2 days in St Pete Beach...downpours made it tricky, but we checked into an amazing room in Acadian House at POR, close to the bridge and a short walk to the main buildings. Love POR, its our first visit to this resort, but we already like it better than FQ. Went to DS and ate at an empty WPC...we were the only ones there! Rains let up, we headed to AK. Rode Everest twice, it was walk on. Rode Kali, walk on. Park was not busy....but lots of people enjoying the enterainment. Did the night safari, saw tons of animals....I liked the faux sunset, but I know lots of people dont. To each his own. Lots of really nice guests on the busses. We swam in the quiet pool at night. A few loud Brits...man, there are Brits everywhere. POR upgraded us to a river view king and left us a card signed by Beauty and the Beast. LOVE the room and the bed is comfy. Lots of space. Only hiccup so far was literally 27 busses went past at AK at 9pm until one for POR finally arrived...and we waited 8 minutesvto board as 3 castmembers with walkie talkies looked nervous but didnt speak to the crowd of 50ish. Just said sorry and let us finally board. Not sure what that was about. Nice castmembers...a few Millenials who were not so magical, but most have been drinking the Disney Koolaid. Off to a great start! Dessert Party at HS tonight!!
