Here now....the pool water is too hot.

Just left the Meadows Pool, after a hot sweaty day out and about. All I wanted was to cool off in the pool. The water was so hot it just wasn't the refreshing dip I was hoping for.

At home when pool gets pee water hot, DH runs foutains to airate the water.

My DS went to play in the kiddie area, the water was nice and cool there. Of course, there are fountain elements there, airating the water.

I agree, it is just not refreshing!

I was talking to someone on the bus the other day and they were saying that the cabin pool was much cooler, apparently it's deeper, so maybe that has something to do with it? We might check it out tomorrow.

That's the bane of summer in Florida. The Gulf of Mexico is an average temp of 85 in the Tampa Bay area right now. My community pool is a toasty 87, and it has a screen cage, which keeps the temps down a little.

Thing is I LIVE in Florida. My DH keeps our pools water from getting Pee Pee Warm by running fountains overnight. The "cooler" (relatively anyway) night air outside the pool cools the water, and keeps it circulating. If my DH can figure this out, I just wonder why Disney hasn't. In my experience staying at Disney Resorts that have fountain elements, they turn them off at 10 PM. THAT'S WHEN THEY SHOULD BE RUNNING THEM TO COOL THE WATER!

Dont forget there is a unusually large amount of 98.6 degree heaters in that pool, they should have some type of air sprinkler system to cool it.

Hot water or not..I would still rather be at the Fort than here at home
