Everything has gone smooth I am in the free computer room now. We are going to mnnshp tonight!! Our room was VERY clean I checked everywhere!!!
The halls in the building have carpet so they are a little worn.
Building 1800 over looking pool. We are happy. I will try a check back later.

We're going to be staying there in May. It's nice to hear it's a decent place. One question, can you see the fireworks from disney from the hotel?

Don't you just love the free computer Do they have the back gate working yet.. last year you couldn't just enter placing your key-card in the slot, you would still have to ring the bell & wait for the guard (in other gatehouse in the front) then show your key-card up to the camera Then one of the days I was there, someone drove thru the outgoing & broke the arm... I figured that would be fixed, but they hadn't fixed it before I checked out, I was there for 7 nights...

We were there in late Feb. We saw the MK fireworks from the pool area on the one night we went home early. It was pretty cool. We thought SilverLake was just fine for what we needed. Location, location, location. Have lots of fun, and scream my name on a roller coaster for me -- RED ROVER!!!! Thanks!

It was working when we were there in December. On some occasions it didn't work right away and we had to insert it a second time but on the whole, it worked fine.

I loved that back way!!

so you would put Silver Lake back on the good list....

It is very close to WDW - it is just what 1/10 of mile down the road from AKL...

but it got some bad reviews so I quit recommending it....

Well, it's on OUR happy list, anyways. If it's clean, safe, and comfortable, then we're a pretty happy crew. We don't have to be in the Four Seasons every time to be satisfied (although that is fun on occasion). The price was unbeatable for us. I read the bad reviews, too, and admit I was more than nervous. It's not the ritziest place in town, so don't expect that. But I'd probably stay there again if the price was still right. Everyone have fun.
