We got here November 9th for a two week 40th birthday celebration. I got sick on Sunday after eating at Sanaa. I'm not saying that's what made me sick, but every time I say the name or think of my meal I feel even more nauseous. I've been stuck in my room since Monday sick as can be. This morning my husband and daughter when on my surprise MK tour without me. We are on the dining plan and all I've eaten in the past 4 days is a piece of dry toast and a handful of pretzel sticks.
Every night before I go to bed, I tell my family that I sure I'll be better in the morning. It's just not happening.
I think of the thousands of dollars we spent on this trip for me to be sick in bed....and I am officially feeling sorry for myself now.
My actual birthday is on Saturday. Hoping to feel well enough to go out by then.
I know there are things far worse in the world and in the big scheme of things this is no big deal. I just wanted a magical trip and I'm in a funk.

HOPE that you feel better real soon and get to enjoy it!
Guess a lot of us have been hit with getting sick at Disney. Back in 2008, DH and 2 sons had a WONDERFUL, memorable meal at California Grill. Wishes was awesome, beautiful night ended in me getting very sick about midnight that evening. Mine lasted about 24 hours. After that I was weak, but then functioned somewhat over the next 2 days. When I returned home, it developed from a virus into bacterial, got bronchitis. FEEL BETTER SOON and stay hydrated!
