Having a great time, but:

Crowds are manageable, but waits are long mostly due to attractions not being fully staffed.

Weather is absolutely perfect! No rain in forecast!

For EMH at MK at 7:00, the first bus did not arrive until 6:30 am. Opening ceremony was ending as we walked up to entrance. Most people headed for the Mine Train. We got a ton done in the am, and left by 1:30 pm as crowds were growing.

Not on the dining plan: food prices are getting a little high. Some meals are easily shareable, but some items are smaller yet cost more. Quality is ok.

Disney Springs is very large now! Enjoyed Blaze pizza lunch.

Most CM's have been great.

Staying at CBR, full of Brits and Europeans. I imagine the hotel is near full, but it doesn't feel crowded.

Complaints are minimal, things are going well except that we are halfway through the trip already!

Glad you are having a great time. And do agree it's a little bit of a bummer to be on the back end of the half way point instead of being in front of it. But the best part is you are at Disney and NOT at work.

When you say waits are long, what amount of time are you talking about?

Enjoy the rest of your trip!

I agree about longer wait times. We are here now at Epcot. We have been in the fast pass line for Soarin' for 20 min. and probably have that long left to wait. The regular line is 180 min. They only have two concourses open for whatever reason.

We just got back from an Oct 15-22 trip - also at CBR. I never quite got a chance to do a "here now" post but I agree with everything aalan wrote.

CBR did have lots of Brits/Euros - my DD5 had a great time on our resort day playing in the pool with a sweet Scottish girl.

Despite the crowds, our FP along with the add-on FP really made our wait times almost non-existent. I almost felt guilty for constantly bypassing the standby lines with FPs that I picked up on the MDE app just 15 minutes prior. Our longest waits were about 40 min for Winnie the Pooh and close to an hour for a Jasmine/Alladin meet and greet.

It was our first time at WDW and the food was better than we had expected. We were bracing ourselves for "theme park" food and were pleasantly surprised almost everywhere. Big low point - the Port Royale food court - we mostly only ate there for breakfast and it was disappointing. We had one lunch (pizza) that was fine.

CMs were fantastic.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip!

Well, last night we did a FP for Spaceship Earth! I saw a 40 minute standby wait for it posted earlier in the day. I think that Disney has a hard time with wait times because they just seem to randomly mix the ratios For people waiting in the FP and Standby queues. FP gets the priority of course, And this is what drives up the wait times

:yay: A bad day at Disney is always better than a good day at work! :yay:
