I wish you much luck and good health! I am too a transplant recipient! Three years ago I received a kidney transplant at the same hospital- University of Maryland Medical center. Top notch transplant team with the latest studies and research on immunosupressant medications. If I am not mistaken, the same transplant team dr's that perform kidney transplants, also perform the pancreas transplants. I do know both types of transplant recipients recover on the same floor. Although I did not have the same type of organ transplant, if you have any questions, feel free to PM me!
