Yep this is our first trip to WDW... haha it was that obvious, eh??

No, not at all... but that being said

I don't think you should do AK and Epcot on the same day. AK is a big park with a lot of walking... a good follow-up would be MGM.

My own personal opinion... I don't think you can do MK or Epcot in one day. Especially Epcot. HUGE park with so much to see. And there is so much Magic in MK that you won't want to leave.

On our first trip we did 12 hours straight in Epcot and STILL didn't see everything and boy oh boy did our feet hurt!!!!

We always try to break our trip up the way you do... one in the morning, rest, one at night, but we try to see all the parks in the day and in the night. Your schedule right now, you will only see MGM at night...It's easy to get lost in that park... we wandered for 30 minutes once, just trying to find the exit!

You definitely have to save time to shop at DTD.

Don't miss Illuminations at Epcot. We ALWAYS find a perfect spot on the bridge near Mexico about 60 minutes before.

HAVE A GREAT TIME. You WILL LOVE DISNEY

Don't feel you have to stick to your "plan". You'll have much more fun if you go with the moment....use them as "guidelines". Have a blast!

I think you are going to have a great time!

I see you are all adults. One afternoon 'break' we love when we don't need a nap and shower, just some off the feet time is to take in a movie at DTD. Another break we like if it is not too hot or raining is to people watch in the parks.

I noticed that you don't have a morning at MGM. This is probably the best time to ride ToT and RRC (if you're so inclined).

You could do that SAT morning.

You may wish to rethink the afternoon breaks. Two reasons for this. First, you are all young adults (your parents are still young) and could handle staying out all day. Yes, you will be tired at the end of your vacation, so you'll just have to rest on the Sunday after you return home.

Second, it could take you an hour to get into your room once you decide it's time to leave the am park and head back to the hotel. For example, you're in Fantasyland in MK when it's time to leave. It'll take about 10 minutes to walk to MK exit, 10-15 minutes to wait for and ride monorail to TTC, 10 minutes to wait for and take tram to parking area and find car, 20 minutes to drive to hotel (assuming no traffic problems), and about 5 minutes to park car and get to room. That's alot of time away from the park.

With low crowd levels in May I don't think it's necessary to park hop, but that's a personal choice. Nothing wrong with it, although you do lose time traveling from one park to the next.

As far as your Universal day, there is a LOT to do there. In fact, given your ages, you may wish to go to both Universal Studios and IOA. It really takes a good 2-3 days to do both parks. Don't do PI that night. Stay at Universal and do as much as you can. Do PI on Saturday night.

Well, you asked for harsh. I hope I wasn't too bad. Your plan actually is pretty good and it sounds like you are well on your way to having a great trip. Have you made any PS yet?

Have a great trip.

Hey, my girlfriends and I are going to Disney during probably the hottest time of the year, mid-july. We are all 20 and in good shape, but we are also there for six days, do you think we should keep the afternoon breaks that we schedualed in for the pool and such?

Well, if you're going to be there from opening until closing, then you do need a break. But this doesn't meanyou need to go all the way back to your hotel for a swim.

You could go to a resort for a sit down lunch/dinner, or take a boat ride (like frmo MK to WL).

However, it depends on the intent of your trip. If you want to see every attraction and fully explore the parks, you'll probably not want to head back to the hotel. However, it you just want to spend a relaxig week hanging out with your friends, that do whatever you'll enjoy most.
