here is a poll of EMH experiences

To EMH ort not to aEMH that is the question

  • EMH evenings were jam packed with people and just not worth it

  • EMH evenings were empty and 100% for sure well worth it

  • EMH evenings were jam packed for the first hour but then were great

  • EMH evenings were jammed full of people for the first two hours but after that well worth it

  • We found that some EMH evenings were good while others for some reason were not

Our family has always done early entry, and when they had e-ride night we did that also. E-ride nights were great. But alas, e-ride is no more.

So a poll for all those who have done EMH evenings. Was it helpful? Was it too slammed? Was it a waste of time?

Anyway, for all those of us who have not gone yet for EMH nights, if you could reply to the poll that would be great.

Thanks for your participation

I think you'll find this "seasonal", just like anything else. I went the first week of March, evenings were wonderful. I didn't care for mornings tho', they were more crowded and not everything was open.

We didn't do an EMH evening since our kids are 4 & 6. If I we didn't have kids, we may have tried the evenings, but we loved the EMH at MK last week. We went twice at opening, and got on at least 12 rides in 1-1/2 to 2 hours in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. The kids didn't even mind getting up at 6:00 to do it!

We did the extended evening hours last May at MK and had one of the best times ever. It was absolutely magical with very small crowds. It had been awhile since we had ridden Big Thunder and Splash Mountain at night and had forgotten how different it was than doing it in the daytime. I think we were the last guests to leave that night and we had little ones with us.

I thought some EMHs were good, and some weren't. I liked MK's EMH since they had the most rides open. Sure it's a bit more crowded than morning EMH, but it's still a good deal if you go during value season and MK closes at 6 or 7pm.

At Epcot, since the kids don't do Mission Space, Test Track, and Honey I shrunk the Audience, that leaves 5 rides to go to.

at MGM, I find that the bottleneck has always been at the ToT/RnR area. Other that those 2 areas, the other EMH attractions weren't crowded and quite enjoyable.

The only one we haven't done is AK evening.

I just got back from the MK evening EMH. It was great. I was sooooo worried based on what has been posted here. So was my boyfriend, who ended up not going because he didn't want to deal with it.

I got on everything I wanted to. Longest wait was 10 minutes for BTMRR. Although I suspect that Pooh and Peter Pan may have been a little longer.

BUT, it has been slow here all week. I suspect it would be much worse if there were more people down here.

The Jungle Cruise at night is a MUST. The woman who was our guide was a riot, even though I could hardly hear her.

I voted "We found that some EMH evenings were good while others for some reason were not "..

There have been trips where the crowds has been just right and then others where it has been a human zoo for the first hour or 2.. so I guess it just depends on timing and what groups are there or how packed the resorts are. Packed or now, I'm just glad to be able to spend a few extra hours at the park..

Good Luck either way!

We're going in late May and this information will help us understand how EMH in the evenings is working for everyone. :goodvibes :flower: :sunny:
