Happy Jetting

Yes I saw that on dealcatcher this week. I meant to post, but work got in the way. Thanks for posting. It doesn't help me as I already booked my August and October airfare, but hopefully someone out there can use it. I did pass it around the office for my coworkers who are planning trips.

I was actually trying ot use this for our return flight over Labor Day, but I don;t seem to find a field where I can input a code on the jetBlue site. We are flying back on the 3rd deliberately to take advantage of this deal (and bcs fares are cheaper anyways) - DD doesn't go back to school until the 4th, so the money saved on plane fare more than covers the extra night at WDW (a great tradeoff, IMO).

I'll call them a bit later to see if I can't figure it out and will post my results here, unless someone can clarify this for me before then.

Thx

I tried this code for my trip for October 31 to November 10 and received the best fare of $325 R/T JFK to MCO...

Terrible... Last year I paid $108, same time of year, same amount of time... I figured $235 maybe but not $325...

Would be cheaper to drive...

Apparently you have to click on the link in the email to access the page where you can enter the discount code. Well darn, I'm at work without access to my home email where this offer lives. I am hoping the reservations agent can send me something so I can access it... holding... holding...

ETA: nope, I'm gona have to do it from home; no way around it. With the coupon it's within $15 per ticket of AirTran. Frankly, I'll take jetBlue over AirTran any day of the week (AirTran is fine, it's just the jetBlue rocks). The coupon is only going to apply to the return ticket, so I may have to book two one-way tix for each of us: no biggie.

Pumpkinboy! Do you have any thoughts on when Jetblue will release Feb dates? I see from your Sig your going to VB again in Feb. Do you have your tickets purchased or waiting for JB?

Well hello there Lisareniff! I have been waiting on February jetBlue fares for two months now. I had expected they'd be out by now tho. We are gonna try to snag FF tix for our return then as we already have the outbound booked on Delta ($170 non-stop one-way for Fri 2/13 in the evening! awesome deal). I'm gonna keep checking Kayak for the new fares tho.

Just booked jetBlue for both legs of the trip over Labor Day. We had not expected to go again this year, but it became the most cost-effective vacation we could do, so here we are with 8 nights, Tues to Weds. I had to book two one-ways, since our outbound was before 9/3. But I was able to use the coupon for the return on 9/3, which knocked the one-way fare down 10%, bringing it within $10 of the AirTran flight around the same time. In the end for great times on non-stops from Boston, we got jetBlue for just under $218 per person. That's a lot less than we're used to paying in February, isn't it Lisa.

So thanks to justplaingoofy, the OP, for posting. I might have deleted the email, which would have meant we'd be booked on AirTran for our return instead of our favorite, jetBlue.

:wizard: glad it saved someone some $... we're flying out of Boston on JetBlue Sept. 3... Not too please with their outbound flights now..on our dates they changed the schedule and now don't leave boston until 9:45a:eek:
Have a magical trip:wizard:

Going during breaks is a pain (in the wallet!) but with DD12 getting older school has to come first. DH is now in love with JB. That added seat pitch (for $) has really won him over. He is doing a longer layover and flying the wrong way to connect (ROC->JFK->SEA) for that extra room. We liked them before but they didn't have Non-stop) flights to MCO until last year and Airtran has such good prices (our only other NS). So, Airtran has been out and if we go the afternoon before has a great price down, but here we sit waiting for JB. :surfweb:

Do you know what time of day JB would release flight? I check every morning (variable times) on their site. I'm worried that they will come out while we are on vacation the beginning of Aug.
