Hi guys

Would love your thoughts on our plans for April. Here goes....

Depart Edinburgh to Orlando on Sunday 22nd April - Continental Airlines
Arrive MCO 17.25
One night in the Hyatt in MCO

Monday 23rd April - flight to Nassau with Bahamasair
23rd to 27th April - Paradise Island / Atlantis

27th April*
Return to MCO and pick up hire car.*
13 nights *in 3br condo in Terrace Ridge (via Publix for the essentials of course)

Return flight from MCO to Edinburgh - 10th May.*

We now have Annual Passes for Disney (preferred with water parks), Seaworld and Universal / IOA......so we'll do all of the usual suspects......

How does it sound?...

Great :thumbsup2 Room for a not so little one in the suitcase :rotfl2:

You will miss all the Easter crowds aswell.

Have you been to the Bahamas before? (I've never been)

Hihi fellow Fifer :)

Sounds like a great plan. The Hyatt is such a well placed hotel and the rooms are nice and large.

Have been to the Atlantis but just for day trips off the Disney cruise ships. We love to spend the day wandering round the resort just don't get carried away in the huge Casino :)

Continental's our usual flight option from Edinburgh as well , not let us down once in 8 years and a great flight now with their new seat back entertainment system.

Great trip you have planned there!

Sounds great, lots of sun screen for Naussau! Atlantis looks amazing. We are stopping off in Nassau on our Nov DCL 3 night cruise. Have a great time.

What are your recommendations for must do's at Atlantis........our daily passes are included in the hotel cost for the 4 days so we have plenty of time to explore........oh and i have been told we MUST try a jetski :scared1::scared1:

i've only been to nassau once...well actually twice, but the second time we didn't get off the ship - that sort of tells you my opinion of nassau

but don't let that deter you...
the atlantis is quite an amazing hotel really....
so 4 days there will certainly be fun...

and there are some fun excursions to be had on nassau - though i've never done any of them...from what i remember, there's a dolphin swimming excursion of some kind, etc.

when we were there, we spent our day at the atlantis pools - lots of pools and slides...we had a grand time (we all love to swim)..

the hotel is very impressive and seems to have enough going on to keep you busy for several days just in the hotel (and i never even got to the casino)..

and now, related to nothing at all, a very dear friend of mine lives in kirkcaldy ... :goodvibes

I've heard conflicting things about Nassau itself - so we'll see when we get there :scared1::confused3

Atlantis looks amazing!! I am sure it won't disappoint.

Kirkcaldy indeed........:scared1::goodvibes

We went to Nassau after two weeks in Orlando for our Honeymoon. The best day we had was when we paid a local taxi driver to take us on a tour of the island - got a much better and cheaper trip than the ones sold by the tour reps and he was very interesting when he gave us a good insight into what it was like living there. We got a price up front so knew what we were paying. Enjoy yourselves it is an experience and I wish we had done it the way you are doing it with USA after as we compared everything to there and it was very different.
